The new version of XELOS Office Integration 2.5 is now available for customers of the social intranet solution XELOS PRO. The comprehensive plugin allows you to easily edit and share documents with colleagues directly from familiar Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint or MS Outlook.

Some of the new features in this release include

• Support for high-resolution HDPI displays
  • Now the XOI dialogs are rendered in high resolution and dynamically adjust to the respective screen resolution, which avoids small, difficult to read text sizes on new devices.
• New file signature (THAWTE)

Among the bug fixes in this release are

• Fixes a problem where comparing Word file versions did not work
• Fixes an error that occurred when the WebDAV service was not manageable for the user in Windows (missing access rights)
• When uninstalling a "Per-Machine" installation, the registration was not completely reset.

The new release is available via the integrated XOI updater as well as at the URL https://my.xelos.net/xelosXOI and requires a correspondingly configured XELOS installation.
