Es wäre schön, wenn für Mails aus Outlook im MSG-Format eine Preview generiert werden könnte.

Finde ich einen guten Ansatz und möchte diesen gerne noch ergänzen.

Eine Preview für alle gängigen Officeformate...

  • docx - Microsoft Word
  • xslx - Microsoft Excel
  • und pptx - Microsoft PowerPoint
... wäre super.

If I find a good approach and would like to supplement it.

A preview for all common office formats...

  • docx - Microsoft Word

@Wolfgang Fern: Nutzen Sie Xelos-Pro? Eine Vorschau von Word/PowerPoint (nicht Excel) ist bereits möglich. Benötigt eine LibreOffice-Installation.

Genau - mit Hilfe des LibeOffice kann man bereits die wichtigsten Format vorher ansehen. Dazu muss der Helper System Preview installiert und eine lokale LibreOffice Installation verbunden werden. XLSX geht derzeit allerdings nicht im Standard, da hier der Umbruch auf Seiten oft eher zu unlesbaren Ergebnissen aus unserer Erfahrung führte. 

Eine Vorschau von .msg Format nehme ich gerne mal mit auf in die Wunschliste für die kommenden Releases. Grundsätzlich finde ich es auch praktisch - wir müssen aber mal prüfen wie komplex das Format ist. 

Exactly - with the help of LibeOffice you can already see the most important formats in advance. To do this, the Helper System Preview must be installed and a local LibreOffice installation must be connected. XLSX is currently not standard, however, because the page makeup here often led to unreadable results from our experience.

A preview of .msg format will be added to your wish list for the upcoming releases. Basically I find it practical - but we have to check how complex the format is.

Hallo,

entschuldigt die späte Antwort.
Wir nutzen Xelos Pro mit Microsoft Office 2013 und neuer.
Finde ich persönlich sehr seltsam, dass ich dafür LibreOffice installieren muss.

In der Praxis werde ich Libre auf keinen Fall zusätzlich zum MS Office auf meinen Clients installieren, nur damit eine Vorschau der Office Dokumente möglich ist.

We use Xelos Pro with Microsoft Office 2013 and later.
Personally I find it very strange that I have to install LibreOffice for this.

In practice I will never install Libre on my clients in addition to MS Office, just so that a preview of the Office documents is possible.

die LibreOffice Installation läuft zentral auf dem Server und muss natürlich nicht auf den Clients installiert werden.

ich wollte mich mal umhören ob dieses Feature schon besprochen wurde. Gerade jetzt zeigt sich bei uns mal wieder wie praktisch diese Funktion wäre.

Hallo Herr Dobrinoff,

Besprochen wurde das Feature bereits aber das Format ist Schwierig zu konvertieren.

Aktuell es gibt keine Lösung dafür und wir rechnen leider auch nicht so schnell damit einen Lösungsansatz zu finden.
